You would think this would be a total bummer of a client, but it is actually the one I hold most dear.
I alone interviewed dozens of people for testimonials about their experience with Suncoast Hospice. We shared stories, laughed, and a few cried on my shoulder. It was touching and very humbling.
Then, I selected the stories we found most encapsulated the messages the client wanted to target, and we shot our talent. I was beside the camera, just talking to them, allowing them to open up since it was their first time ever on a shoot. So, the person they are delivering their message to, is me.
There were lots of hugs on set, emails and phone calls afterward. Awards followed, sure. But, the relationships forged for that brief time are what I am most proud of.
